“We approached Future Shift when we were feeling daunted by the B Corp process; now having successfully certified with a 97.3 score we know we could not have done it without their professional knowledge and the platform which made the process fairly straight forward.”
Jack Tadd, Director
The Challenge:
Creative Revolution Group are a leader in the European glass and clay artist's supplier market. With a young team, committed to pursuing business for good, the Group engaged with Future Shift in 2020 as one of the first client businesses to be serviced by the Shift B Corp methodology. They set a goal of B Corp within a year, alongside other goals like Net Zero, Impact report establishment and employee ownership - an ambitious and meaningful target!
The Solution:
Creative Revolution Group are slightly more complicated than your average B Corp journey due to their corporate structure which includes two independently run companies (Hot Clay and Warm Glass) under a holding company (Creative Revolution Group). This took some careful planning, with two parallel B Corp journeys undertaken by employees from both teams to make sure that their claims in the B Impact Assessment were true across the board for both companies. We focussed on worker policies and ethical business policies being cohesive and applicable across the board before submitting.
